Newton, Mass. – Freshman Sabine Milton (San Mateo, Calif.) earned All-Conference honors from the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) when the conference announced the honorees Tuesday.
Milton earned All-GNAC second team honors and was also named to the GNAC All-Rookie team. Freshman Mckenna McCool (Loomis, Calif.) also made the GNAC All-Rookie team.
Milton had an impressive showing for the Lasers in her debut season. She led the Lasers in points with 321, kills with 252, and kills per set with a 3.04. She ranked fifth in the GNAC in both points and kills and fourth in kills per set.
McCool burst onto the season for Lasers to capture All-Rookie honors. She finished second on the Lasers in kills, kills per set, digs, and points.
Lasell had a record of 16-13 and a 7-6 record in the GNAC under second year head coach Jeff Vautrin, his first in charge of the women's team after the cancelled 2020 season. The Lasers earned a seven seed in the GNAC tournament and lost a thrilling five set match to the second-seeded Simmons University Sharks in the Quarterfinal.
