T&F: Lasers Compete in GNAC Championship

Weston, MA - The Lasers headed to Regis College for the 2024 Spring Outdoor Track & Field GNAC Championship. Both Lasell teams placed fifth place, with a total of 70 points on the Women's side, and 48 on the Men's. 

Nathaniel Gonzalez kicked things off for the Lasers with a first place finish in the High Jump, wiht a mark of 1.82m. 

Jordan Woodley broke two personal records on the day, with a 400mH with a time of 1:02.56 and 100m prelims with a time of 11.67s. Darius Vincent placed fifth in the 400m with a personal record time of 54.12s. 

Max Corson placed sixth with a 34.10m Javelin throw for another personal record broken for the Lasers. 

Patrick Carbone placed second overall in the 3000m Steeplechase with a personal best of 10:56.27. 

Connor Parker had a great day for the Lasers, earning a fourth and sixth place finish in the Hammer, 34.92m, and 32.79m Discus throw. 

The 4x100 relay team made up of Gonzalez, Corson, Woodley and Vincent placed second overall, as well as breaking the school record with a time of 44.37. 

Vincent, Woodley, Curran and Lewis represented the Lasers in the 4x400 relay, earning fourth place with a time of 3:43.90. 

Lewis, Carbone, Vincent, and Curran also took home fourth place for the Lasers. The group finihsed with a time of 8:55.63 in the 4x800m relay. 

 

 

Kayoni Jordan kicked things off on the Women's side of things with a new personal record and a new school record. Jordan placed first in the 100m finals with a finish time of 12.91s. Jordan also recorded a second PR on the day, with 27.89s on the 200m. 

Madilyn Ebbinghaus had two personal records on the day. First, with a second place finish in the 100m finals with a finish timeof 13.07s. Second, with a fourth place finish in the 200m with a final time of 27.30s. 

Hannah Babek took home a fourth place finish in the 100m finals, with a 13.35s finish time. 

Adrianna Tassone took home sixth place for the Lasers in the 400m, with a school best of 1:13.37. 

Mikayla Bokis took home two personal records, with a 2:56.67 finish time in the 800m, and a 25.99m mark in the Javelin throw. 

Julianna Huckans placed first for the Lasers wiht a 2.69m Pole Vault, posting a new school record. As well as third place in the Long Jump with a 5.05m mark. 

Riley Silvia placed third overall in the Discus throw, with a mark of 31.59m. Silvia also took home fifth place overall in the Shot Put with a mark of 9.77m. 

The 4x100 relay team made up of Ebbinghaus, Babek, Waugh and Jordan took home second place overall, with a finish time of 52.01s. 

4x400 relay team of Tassone, Babek, Bokis and Kohtala placed fourth place with a finish time of 4:54.25.
