Standish, ME. - The Lasers travelled up to Standish Maine this weekend to compete in the Saint Josephs of Maine Monks Invitational. 

The most notable performance of the weekend was Connor Parker with a 35.01m hammer throw, collecting a new PR, school record, and 7th place overall. As well as a 8.36m shotput score, and 27.89m discus.  

Riley Silvia had an impressive showing on the women's side of the field events with a 9.70m shotputt, coming in 8th overall. She also placed 10th in with a 28.33m discus throw. 

Katherine Kohtala placed 5th overall in the 800m with a score of 2:34.35, a new personal record. 

Kiara Cerruti took home 5th place in the 1500m with a time of 5:25.86. 

Luke Bullock placed 7th in the 5000m with an end time of 18:57.85. Patrick Carbone recorded a 4:50.72 1500m. 

Up Next: The Lasers are headed to MIT for the Sean Collier Invitational this upcoming Saturday.
