Bridget Lynch's Record Setting Week Secures GNAC Honors

NEWTON, MASS. (10/22/13) - The Great Northeast Athletic Conference honored Lasell Woman's Soccer player Bridget Lynch as she helped lead the Lasers to a 2-1 week, including two GNAC victories over Suffolk and Norwich.

Lynch compiled 7 goals and 3 assists on her way to writing her name in the record book. In an 8-0 victory over Norwich, Lynch tied her record for goals in a game with 5 and broke the single game record for points in a game with 13. She also surpassed Merina Anderson for career goals and career points to become the program's all-time leading scorer.

Lynch has propelled herself up the NCAA leaderboard to 3rd in total points with 52, and 4th in goals with 23. The Lasers are at the top of the GNAC standings with an 8-0-1 conference record and an 11-3-1 overall record. They look to lock up the number one spot this week with games against Rivier and St. Joe's of Maine.
