NEWTON, MA- Freshman forward Jamie Harris (Lynnfield, MA) was named Great Northeast Athletic Conference Women's Soccer Rookie of the Week on Monday. This is the second time the rookie has been awarded the weekly award this season.

 Harris received the conference award season after scoring her third hat trick of the season in a 3-1 victory over Simmons College on Saturday. The freshman standout is leading the Lasers in goals (14) and points (29) this season and is ranked nationally in goals per game (1.0, 29th), points per game (2.09, 60th), and total points (119th).  In the league, the rookie ranks 3rd in goals per game, 4th in goals, 5th in points per game, and 6th in total points.

The Lasell College women's soccer team plays again on Tuesday, October 26th at 3:30 p.m. on Taylor Field against non-conference foes Rhode Island College.
