CHICOPEE, Mass. (9/27/14) – The Lasell College men's cross country team put together a strong team performance at the Elms College Invitational, finishing fourth out of the 11 team field. Trinity Univeristy took the top spot, followed by Massachusetts Maritime and Johnson and Wales as the Lasers claimed the fourth spot with a total of 129 points.
Jeremy Shriber paced Lasell on the afternoon, taking 18th overall with a time of 31:18, followed by Kyle Northrop who was one spot behind ion 19th clocking in at 31:22. Nicholas Garifalos was third for Lasell and 23rd in the race with a time of 32:08 followed by Troy Gonsalves who placed 30th while recording a 33:46 for the 8K course. Tyler Cohen, Leo Saporta and Tyler Schwabe were next across the line for Lasell, finishing in times of 37:17, 37:40 and 41:05 respectively for the Lasers.
The men's team will be off next week, before continuing their season with a race at Emmanuel College on Friday October 17th
