Williamstown, Mass. - The Lasell College men's cross country team got some important experience over the weekend, traveling to Williams College for the Purple Valley Classic to battle top flight competition on the course that will host the ECAC championship meet.

Alex Wesselcouch (29:54) paced the Lasell men's squad, followed by David Cooper (31:56), Kyle Northrop (32:18), Cameron Weiwel (33:13), Patrick Sponzo (33:17), Conor Devlin (34:09), Isaac Montoya (34:39), Tyler Schwabe(40:34).

Williams, Middlebury, NYU, Fordham and MIT placed as the top 5 teams in the meet, with the Lasers finishing in 17th place overall.

The men will travel to the Pop Crowell Invitational next weekend hosted by Gordon College.
