MVB: Lasers fall to Stevenson and Stevens in Tri-Match

Hoboken, NJ - The Lasell Men's Volleyball team fell in both matches of their tri-match on Saturday, falling to Stevenson 3-2, and Stevens 3-0. The Lasers are now 8-10 on the season.

Match One vs Stevenson

The Lasers fell in five sets to Stevenson, falling 20-25, 22-25, 25-23, 25-18, 15-9. The Lasers were led by Theo Zaharewicz on offense, as he had 15 kills. Aidan Norris also had double-digit kills with 11. Brenden Joyce was right behind him with nine. Jesus Garcia collected 39 set assists. Joyce led the team with 10 digs, while Zaharewicz had seven. Carter Phillips totaled four blocks.

Match Two vs Stevens

The Lasers fell to the reigning national champions in their second match of the day, falling to Stevens 25-15, 25-14, 25-19. Aidan Norris led the Lasers with 10 kills, with Jasper Schultz behind him with seven. Cody Bonilla and Bret Debelser split the setting duties with 14 and 12 each. Nathan Carter led the team with eight digs.

Up next - The Lasers will return to GNAC play when they travel to Regis on Tuesday, March 19th.
