Medford, MA - The Lasell Lasers Men's Track and Field team competed in harsh conditions at the Tufts Snowflake Classic on Saturday, and one Laser walked away with a school record.

Connor Parker had a busy day, competing in the Hammer Throw, Shot Put, and Discus Throw, but his Hammer Throw mark of 31.25m was the talking point for the Lasers, as it set a new school record. It broke the previous record of 30.93m set by Anthony Liriano on April 30th, 2017. He also put up marks of 7.46m in the Shot Put and 26.86m in the Discus. Also finding success in the throws was Jeffrey Serrano Sanchez, as he set a new PR in the Hammer Throw with a mark of 20.19m. He also posted a 7.31m mark in the Shot Put.

On the track, the two stars were Kadeem Ambroise and Jordan Woodley. Ambroise finished fourth in the 400m Hurdle event with a time of 1:01.11. He also posted a time of 12.01s in the 100m. He ran the first leg of the 4x400 relay team. Woodley set two new PRs, posting a time of 1:05.85 in the 400m Hurdles, and a mark of 5.21m in the Long Jump. He also posted a respectable time of 20.55s in the 110m Hurdles. He was on the same relay team as Ambroise, running the third leg. Joining Ambroise and Woodley on that relay team was Darius Vincent and Michael Curran, as they finished in 8th with a time of 3:48.52.

Up Next - The Lasers will compete again next Saturday at the Jonathan Tymann Invitational at Gordan College.
