The Dutchmen got on the board first in the 17th minute when sophomore Matthew Dougherty (Needham, Mass.) took the ball away from a sliding defender and placed it in the bottom left corner. Union added a second in the first half in the 23rd minute when sophomore Ethan Layton (Caldwell, N.J.) took a shot that was parried by freshman goalie Gabriel Bazikas (Southborough, Mass.), right to Dougherty who put it in with his left foot.

The final goal for the Dutchmen came in the last five minutes of the game when freshman Ethan Klopfer (Flemington, N.J.) sent a throw-in into the middle of the box finding the feet freshman Wyatt Goldfisher (Dover, Mass.), who with his right foot put the ball in the left corner.

The Dutchmen held the advantage in both shots, 30-8, and in corner kicks, 4-0.
