Newton, MA - The Lasell Lasers Men's Lacrosse team saw their season end in heart breaking fashion, as they fell in the GNAC Semifinals in an overtime loss to Saint Joseph (CT) by a score of 10-9. The Lasers end the season with an 11-7 record, while the Blue Jays are now 11-8.

After a couple minutes of feeling each other out, the Blue Jays broke through with a goal five minutes in. After Landon Reyes tied things up for the Lasers less than a minute later, USJ would go on to score four unanswered goals to close out the first quarter with a 5-1 lead. An early second quarter goal by Adam Haytayan got the Lasers going, and they'd score three consecutive goals with two straight goals by Reyes, including one with just second left in the half. But the Blue Jays would score with 0.1 second left in the half, and take a 6-4 lead into the break.

Landon Reyes picked up where he left off, scoring an early goal two minutes into the second half to draw the Lasers within one. After a USJ goal, Nate Taggart responded with seven minute left in the quarter to make it 7-6. That is how things stood entering the fourth. Reyes would score 30 second into the fourth to tie things up. The Lasers then took their first lead of the game on a Jack Tauson goal with seven minutes left in the game. The Lasers then went up two on a Ryan Stone goal with three and a half minutes remaining. But the Blue Jays would score twice in the final two minutes to send the game to overtime. After winning the opening faceoff of the extra period, the Blue Jays would score, winning the game.

The Lasers offense centered around Landon Reyes, as he scored five of their nine goals, and assisted on another for six points. Jack Tauson, Nate Taggart, and Ryan Stone each had a goal and an assist. Tyler Rose and Ethan Dallas each recorded a team high five ground balls, and Tyler led the team with four caused turnovers, ending the season with 54.
