NEWTON, Mass. - A special thing happened to James Anderson of the Lasell University men's lacrosse team on April 30.

The senior attack compiled three goals and two assists, to go along with his 100th career goal, for the second-seeded Lasers during a 13-6 victory over seventh-seeded Saint Joseph (Conn.) in the quarterfinal round of the GNAC Tournament on Grellier Field. Anderson tallied his 100th career goal with 3:57 left on the scoreboard in the fourth quarter.

Anderson was selected to compete in the 2022 New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (NEILA) All-Star game on June 3 at Providence College's Anderson Stadium. He finished his collegiate career with 103 goals, 44 assists and 147 points. The career goal total is tied for the fifth most in program history and the points are tied for ninth.

He was named to the GNAC All-Conference second team. Anderson recorded five goals and one assist, respectively, in wins over Eastern Connecticut State and Anna Maria on March 16 and April 9.
