WINTHROP, Mass. - After advancing to the GNAC championship game and finishing 9-1 in the conference, the Lasell University men's lacrosse team saw 11 student-athletes receive end-of-the-year awards from the GNAC office Monday afternoon.

Alex Beauchemin was named GNAC Goalkeeper of the Year and was selected to the All-Conference first team for the second straight season. Beauchemin was joined on the first team by senior defender Tyler Rose. Representing the Lasers (12-7, 9-1 GNAC) on the second team were James Anderson, David Burke, Brendan Johnson and Ethan Dallas, while Landon Reyes, Steven Phelps and Magnus Leonard were recognized on the third team. Ryan Stone was named to the All-Rookie team and Jordan Hines was the program's representative on the All-Sportsmanship team.

Rose was named to the All-Conference second team in 2019 and 2021, while Anderson earned Rookie of the Year and third team honors during the 2019 season. Johnson and Burke were selected to the first team in 2019 and 2021, respectively, while Leonard and Phelps took home first and second team honors, respectively, in 2021. On Monday, Dallas, Reyes, Stone and Hines earned their first career end-of-the-year awards from the conference office.

Beauchemin, who was named to the GNAC All-Tournament team, went 12-6 in the net, as the 12 wins were the third most in a single season in program history. He also inserted his name into the program's record book in single-season goals-against average (7.52, fifth best), save percentage (.606, eighth) and saves (197, ninth). The Westfield, Massachusetts, native earned two GNAC Goalkeeper of the Week awards. He ranked second in the GNAC this season in wins, second in goals-against average, third in saves and third in save percentage. Beauchemin was sensational in an 8-4 victory over Rivier in the GNAC semifinals, turning away 15-of-19 shots for a .789 save percentage, while keeping the Raiders off the scoreboard for the first, third and fourth quarters.

Rose was named to the GNAC All-Tournament team and recorded two or more caused turnovers in nine games. He recorded season-highs of seven ground balls and five caused turnovers during a 10-6 triumph over visiting Saint Joseph's College of Maine on April 13. The five caused turnovers are tied for the seventh most in a single game in team history. Rose compiled 37 caused turnovers in 2022, the third most in a single season in the program's record book and ranked second in the category in the GNAC during the year.

Anderson scored his 100th collegiate goal during a 13-6 victory over Saint Joseph (Conn.) in the first round of the playoffs. Anderson led the team in goals (40), assists (15) and points (55). The 40 goals are tied for the eighth most in a single season in program history. The Medway, Massachusetts, native finished with three or more goals six times and tallied five or more points on five occasions.

Burke compiled 23 goals, 10 assists, 47 ground balls and 17 caused turnovers. He scored career-highs of four goals during back-to-back victories over Johnson & Wales and Regis on April 20 and 23. During the triumph over the Pride, the Cohasset, Massachusetts, native posted a career-best six points and tied a personal record with two assists.

Johnson finished with one goal and two assists in a 24-3 victory over the Pride on April 23. He also recorded one goal and one assist during a 20-2 victory at Albertus Magnus on March 30. Dallas compiled 28 ground balls and 25 caused turnovers, while tallying multiple caused turnovers in nine games. During the win at Albertus, he totaled five ground balls and four caused turnovers, the most in both categories during his Laser career.

Reyes was named to the GNAC All-Tournament team, finishing with 29 goals, nine assists and 38 points during the season. He scored three or more goals five times and compiled six goals and one assist in the three-game postseason tournament. Reyes scored a hat trick in the GNAC championship game at Norwich Saturday. He registered a career-high five goals in the triumph over Regis. Phelps led the team in faceoffs won (180) and ground balls (74), finishing fourth and seventh, respectively, in the conference in those statistical categories.

Leonard tallied 36 ground balls and 17 caused turnovers, while collecting a career-high seven ground balls in a win over Saint Joseph (Conn.) on March 19. Stone earned two GNAC Rookie of the Week accolades and scored five hat tricks. He finished with three goals and three assists in a win at Albertus on March 30. Hines tallied 24 goals and 10 assists, including finishing with three hat tricks, during his senior season.
