WINTHROP, Mass. - After compiling three goals and two assists during a 15-8 triumph over Dean Wednesday at Grellier Field, freshman attack Ryan Stone (Granby, Conn.) of the Lasell University men's lacrosse team was named Great Northeast Athletic Conference Rookie of the Week.

This marks the first weekly conference honor of Stone's Laser career.  In the win over the Bulldogs, he also tallied three ground balls and one caused turnover, while posting a career-high five points.

Stone has posted 13 goals and seven assists in nine games this season for Lasell, as the unit is currently riding a four-game winning streak. He has posted two hat tricks this season and has finished with four or more points three times.

The Lasers will compete in a GNAC game Wednesday against Albertus Magnus at 7 p.m.
