MBB: Lasers Drop Penultimate Game of Regular Season vs USJ

West Hartford, CT - The Lasell Lasers fell to the USJ Blue Jays on Wednesday by a final score of 82-55, dropping to 15-9 on the season and 9-4 in the GNAC. The Blue Jays are now 20-4 and 13-0.

The Lasers went up 8-3 just three minutes into the game, but that proved to be the largest lead of the game for Lasell, as USJ soon took over. They took a 19-18 lead midway through the half and never looked back. They would lead 44-27 at halftime, and eventually win 82-55.

The lone double-digit scorer for the Lasers was Marcus Lewis, as he scored 21. He also led the team with eight rebounds, tied with Andy Madesko. Madesko also led the team with six assists, while also scoring seven points. Jonnah Cattaneo scored nine points off the bench.
