Newton, MA - The Lasell Lasers defeated the NEC Pilgrims on Saturday by a final score of 86-50. With the win the Lasers are now 9-6 on the season and 3-1 in GNAC play. NEC is now 4-12 and 1-4.

The Lasers started out quickly leading 11-2 five minutes into the game off of three pointers from Marcus Lewis, Che Hanks, and Gabe Qua. The Pilgrims never got closer than five points after that, as the Lasers continued to build their lead, and led by 11 at the break, with the score 36-25. The second half was the same story, as the Laers continuously built their lead, ultimately winning 86-50.

The Lasers were led by Conan McCusker and Marcus Lewis, as each had 19 points. Also scoring in double-digits was Cameron Foster-Martez with 13, and Karim Belhouchet with 10. Gabe Qua grabbed 13 rebounds and blocked five shots for the Lasers. Lewis also had six steals. Che Hanks led the team with eight assists. The Lasers shot 16-31 from three point range, and had 27 assists compared to NEC's seven.

Up Next - The Lasers will travel to Dean College on Tuesday for a 7pm start.
