Newton, MA - The GNAC announced their weekly award winners on Monday, and Lasell Men's Basketball player Andy Madesko was named the Rookie of the Week. This marked the second time Madesko was named the Rookie of the Week.

Madesko played a solid role for a 2-1 week for the Lasers. Madesko averaged 11.0 points per game on 68.8 percent shooting (11-for-16) from the floor and snagged 6.0 rebounds while collecting 3.7 assists and 1.3 steals per contest. The first-year was an instrumental piece to a blowout victory over Plymouth State on Thursday (Nov. 30) as Madesko scored 21 points, shooting 8-for-10 from the field, while collecting six boards, seven assists, and three steals.
