Newton, MA - The GNAC named their weekly award winners for last week, and the Lasell Men's Basketball team had one honoree, as Andy Madesko was named Rookie of the Week.

Madesko had a productive week coming off the bench for Lasell this past week. Madesko averaged a double-double with 15.5 points per game on 45.8 percent (11-for-24) from the field and 10 rebounds. The first year also added three steals per contest for the Lasers. On Tuesday (Nov. 14), he went 6-for-13, registering 17 points, grabbed nine boards, and shined defensively as well with four steals and a block in a blowout victory over Gordon. Then, on Thursday (Nov. 16), Madesko recorded a double-double (15 points and 11 rebounds) while also getting two steals in a 78-70 victory over Eastern Nazarene.
