Winthrop, MA - The GNAC named EJ Day the Men's Basketball Player of the Week for his record breaking performance this past weekend against Saint Joseph's (ME). This is the second time Day has been named the GNAC Player of the Week this season.

In the Lasers' 90-69 win over the Monks, Day broke the Lasell school record for most assists in a game, dishing out 18 assists, shattering the previous record of 13. Not only did he have a good day passing the ball, he also scored 36 points on 15-22 shooting. Of the Lasers' 90 points, Day scored or assisted on 75 of them.

The Men's Basketball team will return after winter break to host Elms on January 3, 2023. That game will start at 7:30pm.
