NEWTON, Mass. (2/23/15) – Freshman guard Scott Arsenault (Walpole, Mass.) has been elected as the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Rookie of the Week.

Arsenault propelled the Lasers to a 3-0 week, averaging 18.3 points per game while shooting 41.7 percent from three-point territory. In a Tuesday night conference matchup with Saint Joseph's (Maine), the Walpole, Mass. native registered 18 points from six three-pointers. In the following victory against Suffolk, Arsenault continued his strong performance from behind the arc, tallying 19 points from five long-range shots. Arsenault wrapped up the regular season on Saturday with 18 points on four treys to steer the Lasers to a 91-63 over Norwich.

The Lasell basketball team heads to Saint Joseph's (Maine) tomorrow, February 24 for the GNAC quarterfinals with a tip-off slated for 7:00 p.m.
