NEWTON, Mass. (1/13/14) - The Great Northeast Athletic Conference selected Brandon Ganesh as the men's basketball Player of the Week for this past week. Ganesh helped the Lasers to a 3-0 week, including a pair of Great Northeast Athletic Conference victories. The senior guard averaged 29 points per game, while shooting 50.8% from the field, 40.9% from three point territory and 85.7% from the FT line. He scored a game-high 31 points in the Lasers double overtime victory against Mount Ida, including nine of the team's 12 points in the second overtime. He netted 30 points in 30 minutes in a Lasell win against Anna Maria, making 11 out of 17 attempts from the field including 5-8 from behind the three point line. 

Ganesh is averaging 24.0 points per game for the season while shooting 45.8% from the field, 38.6% from three point territory and 80.6% from the charity stripe. Ganesh is adding 4.3 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game. Ganesh has topped 30 points in five of the nine contests he has appeared in and has reached double figures in all but one game thus far.
