Men Drop Tough Game to Amherst College at Home

Newton, MA--The men's basketball team hosted 17th ranked Amherst College today in their final game before the holiday break.  The Lasers played a tough game, but they were were unable to stop the offense of the Jeffs.  Lasell fell today by a score of 94-70. 

Javon Williams (Mattapan, MA) led the team in scoring with 23.  Williams also grabbed four rebounds and tallied three steals.  Also scoring in double digits for the Lasers was first year player Adam Topel (Boca Raton, FL) who put up 11 points.  Dominik Orlow (Slupsk, Poland) had 10 points and five rebounds in the loss. 

Amherst was led by Steven Wheeler who scored a team high of 23 points. The Jeffs improve to 6-1 overall.

Lasell drops to 3-5 overall and will not be in action again until January 9th, when they travel to conference opponent Suffolk University for a 2:00 p.m. game.
