Newton, MA-

The Lasell University field hockey team beat the Nichols College Bison 2-1 Tuesday afternoon in a non-conference match-up at Grellier Field. The win improves the Lasers to 4-2 on the season and the loss moves Nichols to 4-4 on the year.

The Lasers got on the board early in the first quarter when Junior forward Lily Stark (Saco, ME) and Freshman midfielder Madison Raymond (Concord, NH) produced a give and go which resulted in Stark shooting the ball into the back to make it 1-0 Lasers.

At the half, it was 2-0 in favor of Lasell.

The Bison would get on the board at the 41:04 mark when Freshman forward Kaelyn Casper (Hatfield, PA) found Freshman forward Taylor Breen (Shrewsbury, MA) who then shot the ball into the net.
