Newton, MA— Freshman forward Hillary Joseph (Cranford, NJ) was selected as the North Atlantic Conference Rookie of the Week this week.
Joseph was conferred with the honor after scoring consecutive goals, including the game-winner, in a 4-2 defeat of Daniel Webster College on Saturday, September 18th. Joseph first connected with the Eagle's net in the 25th minute, unassisted, on the left wing from eight yards out. Just one minute into the second period, Joseph added the Lasers' insurance goal at point-blank range, taking a pass from Tia Pratt (Oxford Hills, ME).
The rookie forward is currently tied for second on the team in points with four on the season.
