Gary Trottier

Gary Trottier '16 is entering his fourth season on the Lasell University baseball coaching staff in 2023-24. He was promoted to Associate Head Coach at the conclusion of the 2022 season.

Prior to Lasell, Trottier served as an assistant coach at NCAA Division III Becker College during the 2018-2019 and 2019-2020 season. While at Becker, Trottier worked with the pitchers, managed the strength program, implemented a mental skills training curriculum, and recruited on a national scale. Prior to coaching at Becker, Trottier served as the pitching coach at La Salle Academy and Moses Brown School in Providence, Rhode Island. 

As a student-athlete at Lasell, Trottier served as team captain for the Lasers his senior year. During his senior year, Trottier was awarded GNAC First Team All-Tournament and finished among the top in the league for wins.

Trottier graduated from Lasell in 2016 with a bachelor’s degree in Sport Management with a concentration in Sports Psychology. His senior thesis on The Prevalence of Arm Injuries in Adolescent Baseball was a symposium and was chosen to represent the sport management department. Trottier is currently earning a master’s in Sport & Performance Psychology from the University of Western States and a graduate certificate in Mindfulness Studies from Lesley University. Trottier is a certified personal trainer and Reflexive Performance Reset specialist.
