Dudley, MA - The Lasell Lasers and Nichols Bison played for the second time on the season, with the Lasers taking a 5-4 win in extra innings. The Lasers won the previous game three weeks ago by the same 5-4 score. The Lasers are now 19-14 on the season, while the Bison are 14-19.

After hits from Tim Callahan and Connor Freitas in the first, Bryan Baumann knocked Callahan in with a RBI infield single to give the Lasers the lead. The score would stay 1-0 until the bottom of the fifth when the Bison took a 3-1 lead on a three run homer. The Lasers responded immediately, scoring twice in the sixth. The first on a Christopher Bulk RBI single and the second on a wild pitch, tying the game at three. The Bison then came right back and scored a run in the bottom of the sixth. The Lasers then came up in the seventh, and retied things on a Jared Whitby RBI single. After neither team scored over the next two innings, the game went to extra innings.

The Lasers got a lead off single from CJ Mills, and then followed that up with a pair of walks to load the bases. Bryan Baumann would knock in the winning run with a sacrifice fly.
