Game 2: Lasell 6 Colby-Sawyer 4

Unlike game one, it was the Chargers who stuck first when freshman Ben Mensch (Tampa, Fla.) hit a sacrifice fly to right field to bring home Sasso taking an early one-run lead after one inning.

Colby-Sawyer struck again three innings later as freshman Dryden Eliason (Little Compton, R.I.) scored on a passed ball in the fourth. Another run came across in the inning as Sasso singled to right field to bring home Sierra and take a three to zero lead after four.

Lasell got on the board with their next at bats and answered in a big way. Freshman Devon Lapierre (Dover, N.H.) hit a sacrifice fly to bring home the first run. Lasell's second run came home following a Charger error that allowed Martinez to score and make it a one-run game. Freshman Vaun Larisa (Lincoln, R.I.) tied the game up as he crushed a double to right center to bring home Audet and make it a 3-3 game.

Colby-Sawyer quickly answered like they had been all day, taking the lead back in the bottom half of the inning. MacGlashi hit his own double to right center field bringing home Mensch to take the lead back and hold a 4-3 lead with two innings to go.

The Lasers answered the Chargers tying the game up on a sacrifice bunt attempt by Clare in which he was safe at first because of an error by Colby-Sawyer that allowed freshman Griffin Ferreira (Westport, Mass.) to score. Lapierre gave the Lasers their first lead of the game as he belted a double to left center field bringing home freshman Tyler DiNezza (Cranston, R.I.) and Clare. The pitching for Lasell shut down the Chargers for the final two innings as Lasell completes the comeback to win 6-4.

Sophomore Matt Miller (Dracut, Mass.) got the start for the Chargers going four innings, only giving up three hits and striking out two. Sasso and Mensch both went two for three with an RBI and a run scored. MacGlashing had the other RBI for Colby-Sawyer and Eliason and Sierra both came across to score.
