2022 BASKETBALL GOLF OUTING

The Lasell University men's and women's basketball teams are excited to host the second annual Golf Outing on Saturday, June 18, at Sandy Burr Country Club in Wayland, Massachusetts.

This event serves primarily as a fundraising events for the Laser basketball programs and is being spearheaded by Men's Head Coach Aaron Galletta and Women's Head Coach Kelley Sundberg. 

"This is a great opportunity for friends, families and alumni to connect, while also raising funds for our programs," said Sundberg. "For non-essential items we rely on our fundraising efforts to enhance our student-athlete experience, so all of the support we get is important."

The day will consist of an 18-hole golf tournament. People have the option to sign up as a foursome or compete individually. There will be awards distributed following the event, featuring closest to pin, longest drive and winning foursome.

"After not being able to hold our annual alumni game the past two years, we are excited to get everyone back together for a fun day on the course," said Galletta. "Events like these are critical to enhance our student-athlete experience and we look forward to seeing friends, families and alumni who have supported the Lasell basketball programs over the years." 

At the conclusion of the golf competition, there will be a dinner provided for golfers, friends, family and alumni.
