Cross Country Concludes Regular Season at Saints Invite

BOSTON, Mass. (10/13/17) – The men's and women's cross country teams wrapped up the regular season on Friday at Saints Invitational hosted by Emmanuel College.

The men finished 14th overall, while the women placed 18th.

Karli Manship (Pittsfield, Mass.) led the Lasers on a 23:00 finish in the 5K race to place in the top 100 of 210 competitors. Maggie McGovern (Worcester, Mass.) crossed the line next at 24:04, followed by Lauren Lenahan (Weymouth, Mass.) a minute later at 25:07. Shannon Hart (Mashpee, Mass.) and Jordan Immerman (Tarzana, Calif.) rounded out the race on the women's side.

Ryan Dalaba (North Granville, N.Y.) continued to lead the men's team as he has been all season, and placed 30th overall with a final time of 28:29 in the 8K. Dalaba surpassed his teammates by at least three minutes, followed by Matt Holden (Methuen, Mass.) who clocked in at 31:48.

Seniors Kyle Vonick (Wethersfield, Conn.) and Troy Gonsalves (Providence, R.I.) finished as a pack at 33:26 and 34:18, respectively, before Kevin Wallin (Billerica, Mass.) and Kyle Mullen (West Newbury, Mass.), crossed the line.

Both teams return to the course on Saturday, October 28 for the GNAC Championship hosted at Colt State Park in Bristol, R.I.
