BIDDEFORD, Maine (9/12/15) - Four Lasers competed and improved at in the University of New England women's cross country invite on Saturday afternoon.

Senior Jaime Russo (Watertown, Mass.) finished first for Lasell, slicing her race time to 22:38.5 on an improved 7:17 averaged mile. Freshman Stephanie Seedorf (Massapequa, N.Y.) also topped her final time from last week's meet, crossing the line at 23:50.2.

Junior Elizabeth Bennett (Warwick, R.I.) was next to check in for the Lasers with a season-best time of 27:14.3. Sophomore Shannon Hart (Mashpee, Mass.) cut two minutes off last week's performance, as she clocked in at 27:44.3.

Next up, the Lasers travel to the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth on Saturday, September 19 for a race time of 12:00 p.m.
