NEWTON, Mass. (9/8/15) – Freshman Selena Colon (Hartsdale, N.Y.) has been chosen as the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Corvias Women's Cross Country Runner/Rookie of the Week after a stellar collegiate cross country debut.
Colon used an averaged 6:29.1 mile to take first place at the Jim Sheehan Memorial Invite at Fitchburg State University this past Saturday. The Hartsdale, N.Y. native set the bar high for her first collegiate season, finishing the race in 20:09.
