STANDISH, Maine (8/30/14) – The Lasell College women's cross country team kicked off the 2014 season running at St. Joseph's College of Maine in the Early Bird Invitational. Four members of the women's team competed in their season opening meet, including sophomore Briana Wrubleski and freshmen Shannon Hart who made their collegiate debut.

Jamie Russo led the way for Lasell, placing 15^th overall in a time of 24:45 followed by Wrubleski in 28:07, Emily Kochanek in 33:30 and Hart with time of 34:19.

The women's will travel to Fitchburg St. on Saturday September 6^th for their next meet.
