BRISTOL, R.I. (11/9/13) – The Lasell College women's cross country team placed 37th out of 47 teams at the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference Cross Country Championships this Saturday November 9th. The Lasers were led by Jessica Smith and Rachel Knuth who placed 128th and 172 respectively in a field of over 325 runners.
Smith clocked a time of 25:49 over the 6K course and was followed less than a minute later by Rachel Knuth with a time of 26:48. Solange Carpenter finished 197th with a time of 27:20 and being followed by Elizabeth Bennett in 29:57, Alaina Eldredge in 31:54 and Emily Kochanek in a time of 39:11.
The Lasell women's cross country team will wrap up their 2013 schedule this weekend, Saturday November 16th when they travel to the NCAA regional meet for a 12:00 race.
