NEWTON, Mass. (11/12/13) – The Lasell College women's volleyball program had a pair of players selected to the Great Northeast Athletic Conference All-League teams. Sophomore Sharisse Scott-Rawlins (Brockton, Mass.) and freshman Abigail Rollins (N. Caldwell, N.J.) were each named to the All-GNAC Third team by the coaches in the conference.

Scott-Rawlins earned her selection by leading the team in kills with 264 while Rollins finished with 260 kills on the season. The two GNAC honorees helped their team to a 17-16 overall record and a 7-4record in GNAC play before falling to the #3 seeded Johnson and Wales team in the quarterfinals.

Both players were strong defensively as well with Scott-Rawlins second on the team in digs with 266 while Rollins was fourth with 227. Scott-Rawlins finished the season playing 32 matches and a team leading 112 sets while Rollins played 31 matches and 101 sets.

The GNAC also honored sophomore Alyssa Nahigian by naming her to the GNAC Sportsmanship team. Nahigian played in 28 matches while competing in 98 sets. She also led the team with 693 assists.
