NORTH DARTMOUTH, Mass. (9/21/13) - Tha Lasell College women's volleybal team earned a split in their non-conference tri-match at UMass-Dartmouth. The Lasers lost 3-0 to Western Connecticut State before pulling out a 3-1 victory against the host Corsairs.

Lasell fell to WCSU by scores of 25-13, 25-20 and 25-23.

Abigail Rollins  (N. Caldwell, N.J.) totaled 11 kills and 10 digs whie Sharisse Scott-Rawlins (Brockton, Mass.) finished with nine kills and 11 digs for the Lasers. Alyssa Nahigian (Coventry, R.I.) tallied 26 assists in the loss.

The Lasers defeated UMD in four sets, winning 25-11, 20-25, 25-17 and 25-15. 

For Lasell, Abigail Rollins had 16 kills, Jordan Seid (Rowland Heights, Calif.) recorded 22 digs, and Alyssa Nahigian had 37 assists in the win against UMD.

The Lasers improved to 7-6 on the season and will head to Plymouth State University on Tuesday September 24th for a non-conference match before opening Great Northeast Conference action against Johnson and Wales and Emmanuel on Saturday September 28th.
