Springfield, MA - The Lasell Lasers Women's Track and Field team sent two athletes to the DIII New England Regional in Emily VanHouten and Jasmine DePina.

 

VanHouten competed in the Heptathlon, and set three school records. They were for total Heptathlon points (3431) placing her in 12th. She also set school records in the 200m (26.80s) and the High Jump (1.49m). She set five individual event PRs. Her complete results were:

Women's Heptathlon: 3431 points, 12th place, PR/School Record

- 100mH: 18.71s

- High Jump: 1.49m, PR/School Record

- Shotput: 7.80m, PR

- 200m: 26.80s, PR/School Record

- Long Jump: 4.17m

- Javelin: 20.74m, PR

- 800m: 2:34.43, PR

 

 

Also competeing was DePina, who finished in 14th in the Javelin with a mark of 34.07m.
