WESTON, Mass. – The Lasell College women's track & field team wrapped up the outdoor season Sunday by competing in the Second Annual Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Championships, hosted by Regis College.

Host Regis captured the team title for the second year in a row, scoring 167 points. Emmanuel College was second with 155, followed by Colby-Sawyer College (122), Saint Joseph's College of Maine (107), Suffolk University (75) and Lasell (6).

The Lasers had three of the 17 competitors in the 100-meter dash, with freshman Alahna Mild (Bar Harbor, Maine) placing 11th with a time of 14.27 seconds. Junior Allie Clancy (Beverly, Mass.) was right behind in 12th in 14.55, and freshman Olivia Diogo (Peabody, Mass.) was 15th in 15.93 seconds.

Lasell also had three of the 23 sprinters in the 200 meters, led by freshman Emily Hong (Southborough, Mass.) placing 14th with a season-best time of 29.95 seconds. Clancy finished 18th in 30.97 seconds, and senior Jordan Immerman (Tarzana, Calif.) was 19th in 32.82 seconds. Hong was Lasell's representative in the 400 meters, placing eighth out of 10 runners with a time of 1:08.69, and freshman Nikki Ruggiero (Peabody, Mass.) was eighth out of nine in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:46.95.

The Lasers had an entry in the 4x100 meter relay race, with Diogo, Immerman, Clancy and Hong placing fourth out of five in 56.99 seconds.

Lasell had two runners in the 5,000 meters, with freshmen Grace West (Kennebunk, Maine) and Emma Vierling (Waltham, Mass.) finishing ninth and 10th in 22:57.88 and 24:51.44, respectively. Sophomore Amanda Hawkes (Billerica, Mass.) competed in the 3,000-meter steeplechase, placing sixth with a time of 14:27.80.

Freshman Elise Stanbury (Warren Hills, N.J.) competed for the Lasers in two field events. She placed seventh out of 14 throwers in the shot put with a mark of 9.24 meters (30'3.75"), and ninth out of 17 in the discus with a mark of 24.71 meters (81'1").

Freshman Sophia Franzik (Wallingford, Conn.) placed sixth out of 11 in the javelin with a season-best mark of 23.83 meters (78'2"). Immerman placed 12th out of 14 in the long jump with a mark of 3.93 meters (12'10.75").

The Lasers are led by second-year head coach Michael McGrane.
