BOSTON, Mass. (1/30/16) – Senior Melissa Cooley (Huntington Beach, Calif.) posted another record-breaking performance in this weekend's John Terrier Classic hosted by Boston University. Joining Cooley in the sprinters section was junior Ayumni Ranucci (Auburn, Maine), who finished the 60m dash in 8.84 seconds.

In the next event of the 4x200m relay, Cooley, Russo, Ranucci, and sophomore Lauren Lenahan (Weymouth, Mass.) placed 6th overall with a final time of 1:59.53.

Junior Kaitlyn Baker (Unionville, Conn.) and freshman Jordan Immerman (Tarzana, Calif.) competed in the meet's field events, Baker in the high jump and Immerman in the long jump. Baker posted a best mark of 1.40m, while Immerman's longest stretch in the pit was 4.60m.

The Lasers will return to competition on Saturday, February 6 for the Dartmouth Classic at 10:00 a.m.
