West Hartford, CT - The Lasell Lasers Women's Soccer team played at USJ on Tuesday night, and neither team scored in a scoreless draw between two teams that are part of a three way tie for fourth place in the GNAC. The Lasers are now 8-4-2 on the season, while the Blue Jays are 7-4-2. Both teams are 7-2-2 in GNAC play.

While neither team scored, their were plenty of opportunities, especially for the Lasers as they attempted 14 shots, and had eight corner kicks compared to USJ's one corner kick.

Goalie Lataya Simmons was her stellar self, stopping all seven shots she faced to record her sixth shutout of the season. She is now just two shutouts away from tying the school record for shutouts in a season of eight, set by Kristin Gould in 1999.

Up Next - The Lasers will host their Senior Day on Saturday at 3pm when they take on Rivier.
