NEWTON, Mass. (10/9/17) – After a seven-point weekly performance, the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) named junior Carly Zdanek (Newton, N.J.) as women's soccer player of the week, announced on Monday afternoon.
Zdanek scored three goals with one assist in Lasell's only game of the week, a 6-0 shutout of GNAC foe Emmanuel College. The hat trick spurt came in just 11 minutes of play to give Lasell an early and commanding 3-0 lead.
With 21 points on the season, Zdanek leads all Lasell players in goals and assists, and ranks 6th among GNAC opponents in the point category.
Zdanek and the Lasers return to conference action on Wednesday when they travel to crosstown rival Mount Ida College at 7:00 p.m.
