Cullen Earns GNAC Player of the Week Honors

NEWTON, Mass. (10/24/16) – For the second time this season, senior Megan Cullen (Amesbury, Mass.) has been named Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) women's soccer player of the week, as announced by the conference office on Monday morning.

Cullen contributed 11 points in a 2-0 week for the Lasers on five goals and one assist. The senior forward tapped in a single marker in a 7-1 rollover of Mount Ida before being the deciding factor in a 5-2 victory at Saint Joseph's (Maine) that clinched first place for Lasell.

The five-goal performance puts Cullen at a team-leading 16 goals this season.

Cullen and the Lasers return to non-conference action on Wednesday at Framingham State at 4:00 p.m., before they host St. Joseph's (Conn.) on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. for the GNAC quarterfinal match.
