NEWTON, Mass. (10/10/16) – After an eleven-point performance, women's soccer sophomore Carly Zdanek (Newton, N.J.) has been named Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) player of the week as announced by the conference office on Monday morning.

Zdanek netted four goals and a trio of assists to add to her team-leading 19 points. She began the week with the game-winning goal in a 3-1 non-conference victory over UMass Dartmouth before finding the back of the net in both league contests at Anna Maria and Simmons College. Zdanek now has seven goals and five assists on the year.

Zdanek and the Lasers jump right back into GNAC action this afternoon at 4:00 p.m., as they take on the Cadets of Norwich University in Northfield, Vt.
