Cullen, Kingman Named to NSCAA All-New England Team

NEWTON, Mass. (12/3/15) – Juniors Megan Cullen (Amesbury, Mass.) and Mack Kingman (East Bridgewater, Mass.) earned a spot on the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) All-New England Team as announced on Wednesday afternoon. Cullen joined four other forwards on the First Team, while Kingman joined the Second Team as one of five midfielders.

The Lasers were accompanied by Melissa Dodge and Lindsey Cifaldi of Saint Joseph's Connecticut as the four representatives of the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC).

Cullen led all players in the GNAC in goals (19) and points (38) and started in 20 of 21 contests played for the Lasers. The Amesbury, Mass. native notched five game winners, and took 39 total shots on frame. At the conclusion of the 2015 season, Cullen was named as GNAC Offensive Player of the Year, marking the second consecutive season that the conference has recognized the junior forward as an all-conference selection.

Kingman served as a key contributor to Lasell's midfield, and started in all 21 contests this season. Kingman added her first career goal in a 4-0 victory over top conference competitor Simmons College, and went on to score three more to put her career total at four. From the central midfield region, Kingman added two helpers – both in victories for the Lasers, and netted a penalty kick to help the Lasers advance to the GNAC Championship.

The Lasell women's soccer team had yet another electric season, going undefeated in the conference at 10-0-1 and 13-5-4 overall.
