AMHERST, Mass. (9/21/14) - The Lasell College women's soccer team were nipped, 1-0 on the road at Amherst College on Sunday afternoon. The Lasers fell to 4-3 on the season with the loss, while the Lord Jeffs improved to 5-1 overall.

Sarah LaClair made nine saves in net for Lasell, Megan Cullen and Bridget Lynch paced the Lasers attack with four and three shots apiece in the match.

The Lord Jeffs went in front 1-0 in the 32nd minute when Emily Masten got on the end of a service from Alex Hart, slotting home for the only goal of the match. The Lasers created some chances. but were unable to find an equalizer, falling 1-0.

Lasell will host UMass-Dartmouth on Wednesday September 24th at 4:00 p.m.
