New Haven, Conn. (9/21/13) – The Lasell College women's soccer team used a second half goal by junior Kayla Lynch (Dover, N.H.) to earn a road victory at Albertus Magnus College, 1-0. The win helps Lasell stay unbeaten in Great Northeast Athletic Conference play as they improved to 5-2 on the season and 2-0 in GNAC play, while Albertus slipped to 4-2-2 and 1-1 in conference action.

Lasell held a 20-5 advantage in shots and an 8-3 edge in shots on goal in the contest, outshooting the hosts 9-2 in the first half and 11-3 over the final 45 minutes.

Kayla Lynch collected a loose ball inside the 18' box and finished it for her fourth goal of the year to put Lasell ahead in the 60^th minute. Leah Pappalardo (Whitman, Mass.) saved a shot by AMC's Acacia Nelson in the 87^th minute to preserve the victory for the Lasers.

Lasell will be back on the pitch on Saturday September 28^th when they visit Mount Ida College for a 1:00 p.m. GNAC contest.
