West Hartford, Conn.- The Lasers fell to the BlueJays during their Tuesday night GNAC matchup in a tough 18-3 loss.

Lasell played a defensive yet promising first quarter, holding the Bluejays to four goals, finishing the quarter with a Laser goal by senior Teresa Kessner.

The Lasers continued their defensive battle, only letting up two goals in the second quarter by the Bluejays with another goal by Kessner.

Coming back from the half, Lasell began to let up, allowing three more early goals before a final goal from Kessner. The Bluejays would finish the third quarter with an 11-3 lead.

Two more Bluejay goals in the first two minutes of the fourth would send the game into running time, with no answers from Lasell. The University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) would take the final 18-3 win.

Up next: The Lasers will face off against another GNAC opponent this upcoming Saturday the 20th for Senior Day.
