WLax: Lasers Drop to Pride in 12-6 GNAC Matchup

Newton, MA- The Lasers fell to Regis College during a 12-6 GNAC matchup on April 9.

Lasell started off strong with a four-goal lead in the first quarter, a pair each coming from seniors Kaitlin Bedell and Teresa Kessner.

In the second quarter, Regis quickly took control of the game and responded with five unanswered goals headed into the third quarter.

Regis continued their shutdown, putting five more goals on the board while Lasell remained scoreless for the second quarter in a row. Heading into the fourth quarter, Kessner scored two more goals within the first few minutes, which would be the final Laser goals of the game.

Kessner's goal was immediately responded to by another Regis goal within eleven seconds, with one final Regis goal in the last three minutes of the game.

Kessner lead the game with four goals while Joy Sayah collected 15 saves in net

Up Next: The lasers will travel to Elms College on Saturday for a 12:00pm critical GNAC matchup.
