WLax: Lasers Fall to Wildcats in GNAC Matchup

Providence, RI - The Lasers dropped to the defending champs, JWU last night in GNAC play.

JWU opened up the match by sending the ball to the back of the Lasers net in the first twenty-seconds of the game. They went on to score another three goals before Lasell would answer with an unassisted goal from Kait Bedell, which would be the Lasers singular goal of the game.

The Wildcats steadily tacked goals on the board, forcing Lasell into a deeper deficit. Joy Sayah had a whopping 21 saves in the net for the Lasers, tieing her season high record. Emily Watson and Teresa Kessner each took home three ground balls a piece.

Up Next: The Lasers are back on the road this Saturday, as they head to Norwich University for a conference matchup.
