WLax: Lasers Fall to Chargers

New London, NH - The Lasell Lasers fell to the Colby-Sawyer Chargers by a final score of 17-6 on Saturday. The Lasers are now 2-9 on the season and 2-6 in conference play. The Chargers are now 8-4 and 6-2.

The Chargers scored seven times in the first quarter, and led 8-0 before the Lasers got on the board with an Annarita Sanfilippo goal. The Lasers scored again in the second on a Teresa Kessner goal assisted by Kaitlin Bedell. The Chargers led 11-2 at halftime.

The Lasers outscored the Chargers 3-2 in the third, as Kessner scored once and Emily Chapdelaine scored twice. Bedell then scored the final goal of the game, as the Lasers fell 17-6.

Both Emily Chapdelaine and Teresa Kessner had two goals, while Joy Sayah lead the team with four ground balls. Natalia Cullen and Kaitlin Bedell each had two caused turnovers. Sayah made 13 saves in goal.

Up Next - The Lasers will continue their conference play on Wednesday April 12th when they host Norwich.
