Newton, Mass. (4/1/13) - Lasell College junior women's lacrosse player Britney Wuorio (Bolton, Mass.) was honored by the Great Northeast Athletic Conference as the Player of the Week for her role in the Lasers two victories.

Wuorio totaled 17 points over two games, the junior scored 12 goals and added five assists as the Lasers remained undefeated in GNAC action with wins over Norwich University and Mount Ida College.

Wuorio posted five goals and four assists in a 17-5 win over the Cadets and added seven goals and one assists against the Mustangs. On the week, the Bolton, Mass. native collected five groundballs.
